Around the water cooler

Food - Halloween is such a fun time of year. What did/do you want to be when you grow up? Well, here is your chance just for one day, or if you attend several Halloween parties you can grow up more than once (go ahead, you know you want to,) you can dress up and be that person you've always wanted to be. It is the one time of year that you can act silly without any repercussions, unless of course you partake in "the spooky punch," - you're on your own there. But, if for some reason, you just can't let loose...well, you will have to settle with the: "normal talk around the water cooler." Here are a couple recipes that you can bring to the office and share while you exchange idle chit-chat.

People Puppy Chow
Ingredients:
9 cups chex cereal
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. butter
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 (12oz) bag of chocolate chips

Melt chips, butter and vanilla in microwaveable bowl on high power for 1 1/2 minutes, stir after 1 minute. Put cereal in large bowl and pour melted chocolate over cereal, mix until well coated. Put powdered sugar in a large brown paper bag, add cereal mix and shake until coated thoroughly.

Oh, Corn-nuts!
Ingredients:
1 jar lightly salted dry roasted peanuts
1 bag of candy corn

Mix peanuts and candy corn in bowl and serve.
Tastes just like a salted nut roll, but way easier. Warning: it can be addictive, eat at your own risk.

Dish - At last...Howard Stern ,52, and longtime love Beth Ostrosky ,36, have married! It was just last night, Friday, October 3, 2008, that Howard Stern professed his love infront of close personal friends at Le Cirque restaraunt in the City of New York. Guests included: Joan Rivers, Barbara Walters, Katie Joel, Robin Guivers, Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel (?hmm.)
They were joined in marriage in a ceremony officated by Mark Consuelous; Billy Joel sang two songs, while Chevy Chase later delivered the rauncy roast.
Howard pledged his love stating: "I love you, you're everything to me." "I am asking you to spend the rest of your life with me."

As raunchy as Howard can be, we knew somewhere underneath all of his "show" reteric, there was a smushy side. Rest of your life did he say? Good thing he didn't say rest of his life, after all this is his 2nd marriage.....and he is 52. (No harm intended, I wish them a long and happy marriage.)
