Food - Two days off and I am starving for blogging. I didn't plan to take those days off, it just happened - sorry. I had good intentions, but not much for time. So, let's set the table and dish up the grub.Since you mentioned it, (or did I?), it's all about the dishing it up so...lets "dish." Dishes and utensils have become a "work of art," like the one pictured. You can take a meal or appetizer, put it on a plate, add the fancy art-deco utensil and wholla the food magically looks appetizing. Genius, I tell you, simply genius! I wish someone would have started making these dishes and utensils when we were raising our children, of course back then I couldn't afford them, that hamburger hot dish would have looked more like Fillet Mignon served with a side dish of al gratin potatoes and freshly steamed vegetables with a cream sauce.
Raspberry Jalapeno Dip
Ingredients:
1 - 8oz cream cheese
1 - 8oz jar raspberry jalapeno jam
1 box of wheat thins
Put cream cheese on serving plate and top with jam. Garnish the plate with an art deco knife and serve with wheat thins crackers. Simple but people will love it!
