Who's the "Man" in orange?

Food - We've come along way baby, from where it all begun in the "TV Cooking" world. And that says nothing about the availability of all the; meal planning, cooking techniques and recipes available on the Internet now. But it all started with who are now considered "food icons": Julia Child, Jacques Pepin, Frugal Gourmet, Justin Wilson, Graham Kerr, Maryann Espisito, Chef Tell, Galloping Gourmet. Food wasn't the only thing cooking, some of the chefs were known to "tip a few," if you know what I mean.

Here are some of today's TV Cooking personalities, who may or may not go onto become icons: Martha Stewart, Emeril Lagasse, Paula Dean, Cat Cora, Sara Molton, Sandra Lee, Rachel Ray, Bobby Flay, Giada De Lauretis, Ina Garten, Alton Brown, Guy Fieri, Mario Batali and Tyler Florence.

Watching these shows can become addictive. I am not sure how many people actually apply the principals they see, but it sure is fun to have this wealth of knowledge...just in case.

I know I have left many names out that I cannot think of right now, do you have any?

Dish - What a difference a day can make; who's that man in orange?

Petters will remain in jail while awaiting trial.
Saying the ex-CEO "has the personality to pull off a flight caper," the judge agreed with federal prosecutors that alternatives to jail were not workable.

With his financial world crashing wildly around him, a red-eyed Tom Petters was denied a taste of freedom Wednesday by a federal judge who determined that Petters is crafty enough to flee the country with or without a passport and other identification papers.

(I did my homework and found out that some of the money went to good use, here are some examples:)

Achievements: Establishing the John T. Petters Foundation and providing endowments at select universities, allowing Petters to take a tragic situation of losing his son and creating a positive experience for students around the country which he hopes will live on beyond his life and the life of his companies. Endowments at universities throughout the United States: College of St. Benedict, $5.3 million to create the Thomas J. Petters Center for Global Education; College of St. Benedict, $2 million for the Petters Auditorium; St. John’s University, $1.5 million for the Retreat Center; Miami University, $10 million to establish the John T. Petters Center for Leadership, Ethics and Skills development in the Richard T. Farmer School of Business; Miami University, $4 million to create the Jennifer Petters Chair in Asian Business; and Rollins, $12 million to create two new faculty chairs in International Business.

Thank you for at least recognizing his good traits, because there are many despite this situation.

Jennifer, I could not agree with you more! No matter what situation a person finds themselves in, we have all made mistakes somewhere along the line, there is always some good that they have done that should be recognized.
